The Passage trilogy, hands down, will become known as one of the best Fantasy and Science-Fiction series of all time. I feel it in my bones and I declare it so. Anyway, we pick up from where The Twelve left off- the Virals and the Twelve are gone except for the man who started it all- Zero. Quietly he waits, for decades even, for his perfect moment to strike. What I loved so much about this conclusion was how everything just came together in such a beautiful way; I still have questions, but that is okay. There’s minor questions that are still in brewing in the back of my mind, but I like them being unknown in a weird way. Overall I have so much to say and at the same time so little to say because it is just a magnificent, one-of-a-kind and genuinely original tale of a Girl from Nowhere who will save mankind from its own demise. Justin Cronin's writing is so beautiful and elegant with the perfect amount of grit, emotion, action, and brooding that I feel as if I truly know these characters who I have spent a year with (I read The Passage and The Twelve last June 2015). Now let’s get poppin’on that script, Cronin!
