Parents Christine Koh and Asha Dornfest know their stuff: both have practice implementing minimalist strategies in their own busy households and they have the added benefit of crowdsourcing what works for tens of thousands of parents via the blogs they run. They seem uncannily familiar with the management issues every family deals with, including how partners connect (or fail to do so) as parents. Perhaps more importantly, the authors of "Minimalist Parenting" believe YOU know your stuff. They instil confidence that their readers have all the tools to parent successfully and they help clear the clutter in order to find those tools. They show that chaos runs rampant in every family but that schooltime, mealtime, playtime and everything in between benefits from editing. Identify priorities, nix the excess and see results: seems like such a simple formula for a more joyful and relaxed home life.
