I have enjoyed 26 out of 28 from this author, but I struggled to get through 50 pages of this one. It's pages are full of his descriptions and assumptions of how the so-called "classes" live, behave and speak. I found it silly, highly exaggerated, not credible, and very annoying. e.g. "…how did you know all that stuff about the stencher who coffinated the Dowager Duchess? Did you actually see the running sore in action?" Add to such as this, Corky Froggett the driver, Proops the butler, Clutterbuck the dog, and on and on.
