Dystopian novel about a family surviving among two settlements where the constant encroachment of sand dictates how their lives unfurl. This novel has a good narrative and pace with okay character development. Worth reading if you are a fan of the genre.

I enjoyed the book, but the Overdrive version was not that great on my Android phone. A couple of chapters were impossible to access; I could read the first page, but when I tried to read the second page the system flipped to the end of the chapter. Checking out books on Kindle worked much better!

I loved Wool. That being said it was so hard to get into Sand. The characters just weren't developed enough to get in to. The world was a world I just couldn't wrap my head around and imagine as the story took place. I wanted to love this book to, but was disappointed.
