I LOVED Catching Jordan!!!! Definitely a must read. Miranda Kenneally creates such amazing characters, and the most fantastic stories. I could not stop reading it, and then I read it again!

This is the first book of about seven books in the Hundred Oaks series. This story is about a girl named Jordan who is the quarterback and captain of her high school football team. She faces some troubles when she falls for the new boy on the team and learns that her best friend since childhood thinks of her more than just a friend. While this may sound like a very YA cliche plot, Keneally does a great job of weaving an enticing and engaging story through her female young adult narrators. Her characters face many trials and self-realizations that are very easy for readers to identify with. This is what makes Kenneally one of my FAVORITE authors! I would recommend that you READ THIS SERIES IN ORDER. Kenneally weaves old characters stories into her newer books and it is very cute and fun for the reader if you know all of the backstories. :)

Catching Jordan was an amazing book full of love, sadness, and football. Lots and lots of football. I absolutely loved the ending to this book because I know that Ty really loved Jordan, but in the end, Jordan was with the person she really loved. As hard as Jordan's life was, with her dad, and her love life, she was still able to maintain her reputation as an amazing captain and quarterback.

I really like this book, I think this is my third or fourth time reading it. It is a fast read, but not in a bad way. I couldn't put it down. Jordan is a great character. I love that she plays a sport that is traditionally for boys. I liked seeing her character change throughout the book. It was great to see all of her different relationships with her brother, father and Sam.

This book made my emotions go in circles but over all it was a great book. It had a bit too much drama for me but i loved the character. Jordan was a cool girl and i love that she is so comfortable around guys (basically the opposite of me) she plays football which i like playing too and that love triangle left me wondering what Jordan would do. I also love that this book has a lot of girl power in it.

This book made me giggle, snort and coo in a circular pattern. I love overly smart girls in books, but I love that Jordan isn't book smart ("what's a five letter word for polo participant?" "I don't know, shirt? Like polo shirt?") but she knows what she wants and still has to figure things out.

I love this book!!!!! When I was reading the other books of Miranda Keneally, I squeal when she mentions Jordan Woods!!!! Eh....still fangirling ❤️

This book kept me guessing who Jordan was going to choose, and if her father would except Jordan for choosing football as her dream.

A really cute novel that shows the empowerment of a young female in high school wanting to pursue her dream in a male-orientated field. I wasn't a fan of Ty as I thought he was a tad controlling over Jordan but I'm happy that she does stick up for herself and friendship with Sam Henry. She and Sam are the cutest couple and I'm happy that they get together in the end. :)
