The war between Exiles and Angels is on-and she's wanted by both sides. The hotly anticipated follow-up to Embrace, Entice ramps up the captivating combination of angel mythology, forbidden romance and intense action. Seventeen-year-old Violet Eden's whole life changed when she discovered she is Grigori ? part angel, part human. Her destiny is to protect humans from the vengeance of exiled angels. Knowing who to trust is key, but when Grigori reinforcements arrive, it becomes clear everyone is hiding something - even her partner, Lincoln. And now Violet has to learn to live with her feelings for him while they work together to stay alive and stop the exiles from discovering the key to destroy all Grigori. It isn't easy. Especially when the electricity between her and exile Phoenix ignites, and she discovers his hold over her has become more dangerous than ever. The race halfway across the world to find the one artifact that could tilt the balance of power between Angels and Exiles brings them to the cradle of civilization, where Violet's power will be pushed to the extreme. And the ultimate betrayal exposed.

I'm a big fan of the series. Definitely liked the first book more but I liked this one too. I felt some of the story elements were a little disorganized or a tad hard to follow. Still has angels and romance so I can't complain.

I think I got past ch 1 but not sure. This reads like a play written by imbecilic high school students, all hormones, no wit, no skills. It's ridiculous.

Not brilliant as far as mysteries go, and the storyline at times seemed vague, purposefully dense, and random, but entertaining enough.

Love the authors description of every thing, especially Phoenix's hair! Already working on the next books!

"Those who hate most fervently must have once loved deeply; those who want to deny the world must have once embraced what they now set on fire." -Kurt Tucholsky.

This is a great follow up to Embrace. Can't wait for Emblaze to come out!

The war between Exiles and Angels is on -- and Violet Eden is wanted by both sides. Violet knew that accepting her angel heritage came with certain powers. But stab an exile through the heart? Really? Worse, everyone she knows suddenly has something to hide, including the one person she could always count on -- her partner, Lincoln. No matter how bad things get, though, Violet doesn't run and she doesn't quit. Even if it means asking her enemy for help...

"Because?"
"Because...he cares about me the most."
"Because he loves your ass in the epic sense!" Steph said, giving me a little job-well-done pat on the back. This was as far as her deep and meaningful would extend. "Right," she said, standing and starting to pack books away. "What's the plan?"
