Awesome performance with Irene and Cary as usual.
If you enjoyed this watch Penny Serenade, they have amazing chemistry.
I love Cary and Doris so I was elated to find out that Doris did a remake of this, can't wait to watch Doris' version.

A light and frothy confection which compensates for its lack of logic with pure Hollywood star power and plenty of screwball antics (a hotel mix-up is classic). In this their second of three pairings, Grant and Dunne have the perfect onscreen chemistry—his neurotic fidgeting playing foil to her wry, slightly mocking humour. Gail Patrick as wife number two, on the other hand, shows that while her heavy presence makes for a mean femme fatale she lacks the levity and timing essential to a comedic role.

VERY GOOD - recently saw (for the first time) the 1963 Doris Day remake 'Move Over, Darling' so thought I'd see the original - and glad I did!
Irene Dunn and Cary Grant were excellent in their lead roles.
I do agree with those who suggest that at film end having Stephen Burkett from island character form romantic relationship with Grant's new, and then annulled marriage wife, Bianca, would make a happier ending - for all the characters.

Completely predictable, with a few moments of wit.

I love screwball comedy. Irene Dunne and Cary Grant were the best.

Since I was a kid I had a big crush on Cary Grant, but this is the silliest movie I’ve ever watched—better: tried to watch!—and even his presence couldn’t make it bearable… Silly, artificial, forced acting—and I like old movies and know they acted different then.

A sweet goofy comedy.
