Beautifully illustrated. Print is not large, so probably not intended for little kids. Includes a postlude telling what happened to this brave & heroic little dog after his military service ended. Quite enjoyable condensation of his military heroism & how he happened to save so many American lives in World War I. Rags was a genuine war hero!
