I loved it. I just loved it. There is not much else to say. This book gave me all the feels from flutters, to shivers, to jitters. Lurlene McDaniel made this novel the kind to be remembered forever. This novel tells the story of Ciana Beauchamp, a young woman willing to do anything to save her land and take risks for her love. This novel is based on the many love stories within the Beauchamp family. No family is complete without a bit of drama. This novel has many, and by many I mean thousands of plot twists. It’s a pretty dull read at the start but as you keep reading, it just keeps getting better till it’s too good to stop. I couldn’t put this book down, and that is why I will warn you that this book is not the one for you if you are not a serious reader. The romance in this novel is just too much to handle, as it leaves you hoping that one day you’ll feel the same for someone else. I was able to learn so much about trust within this book, than I have my whole life. If you’re a reader that loves a good romance, this is the book for you. It is totally not cliché. It is totally the best book ever. So read it. I would give it a 10/10, as it fills all the categories. Taking place in Texas, it has the whole country feel, adventure theme, and you will seriously be sitting at the edge of your seat. I mean, you may even fall of for all you know because it’s just too good. So yes, you need to read this book. By need I mean it’s a need like water is in order for you to survive. Nothing else needs to be said.
