I found Bear to have a fascinating story and he told it well. Before reading this I thought he was just a crazy adventurer. It was interesting learning about the back story of Bear and what an amazing human and fighter he truly is.

Any fan of Grylls or of Man vs Wild will probably enjoy this book. The bio focuses on Grylls' SAS training and his assent of Everest, but I found those to be really nice context for the rest of his survival and outdoor work.
