David Suzuki, iconic Canadian scientist, educator, broadcaster, and activist, delivers a lecture on the eve of his 75th birthday, which he describes as a distillation of his life and thoughts, his legacy, what he wants to say before he dies. Filmed before a live audience, in front of a memory box of moving, distilled images, he articulates a core, urgent message: the limits of the biosphere have been exhausted and it is imperative that humans rethink their relationship with the natural world.

David Suzuki does a wonderful poetic job of describing the over-population problem, its impact on the 'bio-sphere, etc. ,.. but with no concrete ideas of what to do about it. Except that Canada preserves some green spaces. ( Kev's PICkS : For an effective update about the decline and ending of our current 'Petrochemical Civilization',.. be sure to see the documentary 'Collapse', based on Jared Diamond's excellent book. But yet again,.. with no concrete ideas of what to do about it.)

I highly recommend to see this documentary. Professionalism in both aspects - execution and the content. I truly enjoyed this film...

Kind of flat. Could have been much more powerful
