Terrific book. It covers all the different kinds of variegated yarn, how to tell them apart, what patterns work with what type and what kind of stitches are the most suitable. This book will be a basic you refer to again and again.

These patterns could be made equally well with plain-coloured yarns, or one of each, for variety.
