Which is fine with her childhood friend, psychologist Will Lincoln, who's already chosen the perfect man for Jess: himself. Will has loved Jess practically forever. He knows her faults and her strengths. But for all Will's sincerity and charm, Jess fears he views her as some psychological case study. With her family and the town of Chesapeake Shores behind him, Will finally makes his case. But is it enough to convince Jess to take the risk of a lifetime?"Warm, complex, and satisfying." --Library Journal on Harbor Lights

First and last S. Woods book. And it was a waste of my time.

Jess is self-centered, and b**chy and Will would be better off without her. He's a bit of a slow mover and over-talks things, but he has the excuse of being a psychologist and is trained to do just that. Jess is just a regrettable character and deserves no sympathy for her stupidity, bad-manners and selfishness.
