Karen Slocombe isn't sure why she visited the supermarket that day - as a member of the Food Chain Group and a stall holder at local farmers' markets, SuperFare is a place she would normally avoid. Luckily Karen leaves moments before a bomb explodes, destroying the front of the store.
A few days later, whilst manning her stall at Bradbourne Farmers' Market, Karen finds herself in the midst of another horrific crime. Peter Grafton, a fellow stallholder, is murdered in front of her and when her friends from the Food Chain Group start warning Karen not to tell the police certain details, her suspicions are instantly aroused.
Could the two events be linked? And are Karen's friends involved?
