Some people say Billy Altman has a heart of gold. Others say he's a bit odd. The truth is, they're all right. He's a hillbilly genius - a collector, a radio whiz - and he can make the mandolin sing. Billy has dreams, but things always seem to go wrong. Yet his life has not gone unnoticed. Malachi is an angel sent to observe and protect Billy. It's not his dream assignment, but slowly he begins to see that each step Billy takes is a note added to a beautiful song.

It grabbed me and held on until the last word! Throught provoking, emotional, and reflective of real life.

Billy Allman lives his life as he believes God wishes people to live. After many hard times and losses, Billy believes that building a radio station in his home to host bluegrass music & Christian programs, will be the key to living his life as God planned. Being gifted at playing the mandolin and a genius with technology helps him to create his vision. Billy story is told not just from interesting bystanders but by his guardian angel as well. With humor and pathos in nearly every chapter, this book will be one I will read often and share with others.
