Watched this a few years back and didn't find it funny at all, but maybe now that I'm a bit older and able to appreciate perhaps a more subtle brand of comedy, I liked it. Although it is a 3 star movie. I wasn't blow away, and I wouldn't consider it a comedy that gave me a very enjoyable ride. Just decent, funny, sometimes quite funny, relaxing and smooth in its pace. 3 stars

Not to bad of a movie! But kind of dumb at times!

One of my all time favorite and most quotable movies. If you have ever had a job, you'll relate to this movie.

One of the most quotable movies to come out of the early aughts, this workplace comedy by Mike Judge (King of the Hill, Idiocracy, Silicon Valley) is immediately likeable and worthy of repeated viewings. *Disclaimer: some office equipment was harmed in the making of this movie.

Office Space is comedy gold. I think it is pretty universally funny and relatable. If you've never worked in an office or at a restaurant, it may give you more empathy for those who do. The movie is rated R for language and brief sexuality.

Peter Gibbons: Michael, I did nothing. I did absolutely nothing, and it was everything that I thought it could be.

The character of "Milton" alone is worth the watch.

So much fun. Just a good light-hearted watch. I'd forgotten things like "Flair!" but not the stapler. Best last line ever: "There were grains of salt on the glass, big grains of salt." Just good nerdy fun.

It's like my life at the office, taken to the extreme, except for some days, when it's exactly like my life at the office.

Any one who works in bureaucracy will enjoy ... light, fun. Also a reminder of how quickly technology has changed in the last decade. Downside: unfortunate anti-gay, homophobic comments.

Extremely flimsy premise used to get things going (visit to hypnotherapist by man who suspects girlfriend is cheating on him - why would either of them go, given that turns out to be the case?)....but much fun ensues. Gotta love Milton. Definitely a light fun watch.

Nina: Now Milton, don't be greedy, let's pass it along and make sure everyone gets a piece.
Milton Waddams: Yeah, but last time I didn't receive a piece. And I was told...
Nina: Just pass.
[while the cake passes Milton mutters - eventually everybody but Milton gets a piece]
Milton Waddams: [muttering] I could set the building on fire.

Milton Waddams: [talking on the phone] And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire...

Bob Porter: Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately.
Peter Gibbons: I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob.

I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven, I told Bill that if Sandra is going to listen to her headphones while she's filing then I should be able to listen to the radio while I'm collating so I don't see why I should have to turn down the radio because I enjoy listening at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.

"You're taking money, right?"
"Right."
"Money that's not yours?"
"Right."
"How is that not stealing?"

Drew: I'm thinking I might take that new chick from Logistics. If things go well I might be showing her my O-face. "Oh... Oh... Oh!" You know what I'm talkin' about. "Oh!"

Samir: No one in this country can ever pronounce my name right. It's not that hard: Na-ghee-na-na-jar. Nagheenanajar.
Michael Bolton: Yeah, well, at least your name isn't Michael Bolton.
Samir: You know, there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There *was* nothing wrong with it... until I was about twelve years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys.
Samir: Hmm... well, why don't you just go by Mike instead of Michael?
Michael Bolton: No way! Why should I change? He's the one who sucks.

Dom Portwood: Hi, Peter. What's happening? We need to talk about your TPS reports.
Peter Gibbons: Yeah. The coversheet. I know, I know. Uh, Bill talked to me about it.
Dom Portwood: Yeah. Did you get that memo?
Peter Gibbons: Yeah. I got the memo. And I understand the policy. And the problem is just that I forgot the one time. And I've already taken care of it so it's not even really a problem anymore.
Dom Portwood: Ah! Yeah. It's just we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that'd be great. All right!
