Finding Courage is an empowering collection of biographies about kids who have made a difference. The stories range from historical heroes to those making an impact today. There are kids featured from all around the world. Some of the heroes featured include Elizabeth Eckford, who marched into history at 15 when she defied a shouting mob to attend an all-white school, and Abraham Grebreyesus, who after losing his sight and an arm to a landmine at age 11, campaigned and convinced 122 nations to sign the first global treaty banning antipersonnel mines.
