Hallmark movie with a bit better cast and production.

Beautiful movie! Diane Lane is irresistible as Frances Mayes, a heart broken divorcee restoring her life and searching for love in a foreign land, which happens to be one of the most beautiful places on earth.

This is one of the very few times I will say that the movie was so much better than the book. By leaps and bounds. This is one of my favorites!

Very good movie. I'm more of a Star Wars and/or Star Trek fan, so this is not normally the kind of movie I watch, but I enjoyed it and my wife loved it. Very funny.

Diane Lane is 'GREAT' as Frances Mayes! I 'LOVED' her in this Movie. She captured her perfectly and her Portrayal of Frances was impeccable. I identified with Frances and was very sympathetic to her. I was truly inspired by what Frances experienced. I have a Fixer Upper. She gave me the motivation I sorely needed. I started to finally Renovate my home. I got the Hope from Frances I needed to give me the confidence that I could do it. My three Carpenter guys are Irish though. This is truly one of my favorite Contemporary Films of all time! I highly recommend it. Tuscany is a character all its own!

It’s one of my favourite movies. It’s a movie of hope and wishes come true, set in a beautiful land. The movie uses some cliches and stereotypes, but it is not racist if you have more than the surface knowledge of Italian history.

predictable plot with beautiful postcard location shots
