One of John Saul's best. I'm not quite sure if it's because I know John Saul's writing style so well, but despite it being wonderfully written and suspenseful, its plot was entirely predictable, all except for the twist ending that John Saul is so well known for incorporating into his novels.
All-in-all I loved it, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys supernatural horror/mystery/suspense.
Not much I can say except typical Saul. He seems to write a book every year recycling the same plot with almost the same characters and with minor changes to the backdrop. Entertaining enough to read but not the kind of book I would even consider reading a second time
