On August 11, 2014 Robin William passed away. He left a body of work that will be admired for generations to come. One of his best films is "Good Morning Vietnam". He was great in the film as a disc jockey on a military radio system. Robin would have been one of the countries best disc jockeys if he had chosen the field. The soundtrack from the movie is ample proof of his disc jockey abilities. He was quick witted and loaded with personality. It was a real story of a military disc jockey named Adrian Cronauer. The album is filled the best soul and rock singles of the 1960's. Now would be a great time to put a hold on it. As of today, KCLS has 2 copies and both are checked out. You could be the first in line when they check back in. This is one of rock and rolls best soundtracks! You will hear plenty from your DJ Robin Williams. He must have been a big soul and rock fan himself. Each song seems to excite him more than the last!
I love this soundtrack. It is like a soundtrack to a part of my life. The interjected comedy and speaking with the classic songs is what makes it all the more special. Sooo worth a listen if you are a child of the 70's or 80's
