This has some laugh out loud moments, particularly early on. It helps if you've read the other Pine Cove books (Practical Demonkeeping, Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove) because there are some inside jokes with the other townspeople.

This book was fantastic!! Story, characters, delivery, humor, & ending were all spectacular. I wish I had read some of the earlier books for more back story but works well as a stand alone.
