The Hunchback of Notre-Dame is a unique story, but definitely not my favourite. I found the music and script to be disheartening, as opposed to uplifting, such as the song where Quasimodo is expressing how he is made to feel, and believe,…

A great Nineties Disney classic. A powerful retelling of the classic Victor Hugo novel, with great messages and music: the most important of the former being that it is not how you look on the outside but how you are on the inside that…

One of my favorites of the newer Disney movies. Loved Demi Moore and the rest of the cast and the music and animation are wonderful!

The music in this movie is fantastic. I'm really glad I gave this movie the chance that it deserves.

This movie doesn't get the love it deserves. Sure, it's got a few tonal issues, but if you just look past them, this movie is amazing. Quasimodo is so sweet and pure, I love his character so much. Esmeralda is strong, stubborn, and…

A fantastic opening sequence that rivals The Lion King. Much darker than you typically expect from Disney, but the art style is amazing and it feels like one of the most realistic and grounded movies.

I get a completely different perspective on this movie watching it as an adult.

I wasn't really impressed with this one though I do appreciate the fact that Disney took the classic story, put it onscreen and made it child friendly. I just couldn't connect with the characters or get with the story line.

I have not seen this in years, but wow!! All the references to other movies and Shakespeare. I did not get those when I was a kid. Also this is a pretty dar film. I laughed a lot, but the subject matter is really dark and sort of twisted.…

This movie is creepy. One of the plot lines has the villain - Frollo - wanting to sleep with the gypsy woman. Because he can't, he'll destroy her. (There's even a song about it.) In one scene he even grabs her from behind (against her…

Although at first this movie was confusing for me, as it neared the end, pretty much all the pieces fit together. This story was really fantastic, and both the animation and characters topped for a film by disney not involving any main…

THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME has somehow got a bad reputation over the years as a mediocre Walt Disney film, but to be honest, I can't understand why. It is a fantastic film with great writing and story development. Perhaps it is its tone,…

Amazing. Very un-Disney like, ubt the songs were awesome, and so was the story line and characters. Loved it. Isn't really for really young children though-- I think older people would understand it better.

I've Heard Some Nasty Comments About This Movie. People Have Stated That They Don't Like It Because The People Are Mean To Quasimodo. Gimme A Break! That's Like Saying That The Lion King Is A Bad Movie Because Scar Kills Mufasa. Classics…

I honestly thought it would be better, as a Disney fan. I didn't really like the songs in the movie, it wasn't Alan Menkan's best work, to be honest. And I was actually so surprised how they portrayed Claude Frollo so closely to the actual…
